Meet Ms. Great!

I grew up playing school and thought I would be a teacher when I was older. After taking a computer programming class in high school, I was hooked. I ended up going to the U of IL; earning a BS in Computer Science. I took a job with AT&T Research & Development and completed a MS in Computer Science and a Masters in Engineering Management.

Looking for a change, I moved to a start up managing their consulting organization and product release process. With my daughters now in elementary school and involved in many different activities, I got pulled into volunteering in Girl Scouts, the technology committee, and Home & School.

Spending so much time at St. Norbert renewed my interest in teaching. I started teaching technology classes for 6th - 8th graders and then expanded to younger grades. Heading back to school, I earned my teaching certificate and have been at St. Norbert for nearly 25 years. I’ve enjoyed introducing students to Robotics, 3-D printing, Arduinos, programming and then hearing about a number of them pursuing careers in Engineering.
